Radetzky

Twenty five years after designing Radetzky Cafè, in 2010 I was asked by the same client to enlarge the original kitchen and design a small charcuterie shop to be opened next to the original Cafè; taking advantage of the enlarged production space, it would function as Radetzky’s take-away food hall.

As part of the concept for the enlargement I first worked on the existing Cafè, pushed the original design one step further, expressionism of materials and silence of form and details; added an original facade module to the new space and placed a self sufficient serving island on its small interior.
